SIZE GUIDE
These are 3 different ways to measure your ring size.
Before you measure
- Measure at the end of the day, when your fingers are at their largest.
- Avoid measuring when your hands are very hot or cold.
- Measure two or three times to make sure the result is consistent.
1. Use a ring sizer
The most accurate way to find your size is with a ring sizer, a tool that all jewellers have. Visit a local jeweller and ask them to measure the finger you will wear the ring on. This way, you will get the exact measurement.
2. Measure a ring that fits
If you do not have a ring sizer, the next best way is to measure a ring you already own and know fits well. Use a ruler to measure the inside diameter of the ring, from edge to edge, and find the matching size in the table below.
If you are buying a ring as a gift, borrow a ring the recipient wears on the same finger and measure it.
| Size | Diameter |
|---|---|
| 44 | 14.0 mm |
| 46 | 14.6 mm |
| 48 | 15.3 mm |
| 50 | 15.9 mm |
| 52 | 16.6 mm |
| 54 | 17.2 mm |
| 56 | 17.8 mm |
| 58 | 18.5 mm |
| 60 | 19.1 mm |
| 62 | 19.7 mm |
| 64 | 20.4 mm |
| 66 | 21.0 mm |
3. Measure your finger
Wrap a strip of paper or thread tightly around the base of your finger. Mark where the ends meet, then measure the length in millimetres. This number is your size. For example, a circumference of 54 mm equals size 54.
Choosing the right fit
Personal preference also matters for a comfortable fit. As a general rule:
- For large, chunky rings, we recommend choosing a size slightly too big rather than too tight.
- For thin rings, such as engagement rings, we recommend choosing a size slightly tight rather than too big.
