She did her thing, went against the flow and was seen by many as inappropriate both as an empress, but also as a contemporary woman. First and foremost, she was a trailblazer when it comes to fashion and style. She was known for her unique and daring fashion choices, which often went against the traditional and conservative styles of the time. She was also known for her love of jewels and accessories, and was often seen wearing bold and extravagant garments. In short, she was a trailblazer who broke the norm and set new standards for women in her time and is a source of inspiration for JOSEPHINE.

The rose is the main inspiration for all our jewelery in one way or another. Empress Josephine was known for her great love of roses and her huge rose garden at Château de Malmaison. The empress was known as Rose until Napoleon insisted on calling her Joséphine.
